Quality

Beyond Standards: Kataria’s Commitment to Quality

Quality is the core of what we produce and ship at Kataria Plastics Pvt. Ltd. Our commitment is to do more than just meet specifications, but to produce and deliver something that inspires trust, endures longer, and performs better in every condition. From concept through to dispatch, each process, each person, and each product at Kataria has quality woven into them.

Each pipe, fitting, and component that leaves our facility is a direct outcome of meticulous engineering and unwavering quality control. We work only with trusted raw material suppliers, operate on calibrated and advanced machinery, and train our workforce to embrace excellence as second nature. At Kataria, we deliver with precision, every single time.

Kataria Plastics adheres to a systematic and ever-improving Quality Management System. All three phases— raw materials inspection, process monitoring, and product testing are controlled by written protocols.

We are accredited to ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems), ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015. These testify to our overall company philosophy regarding the quality of both our products as well as workplace safety measures, and to the environment.

Our production system has advanced extrusion lines, laboratory facilities for carrying out quality checks, and automated equipment that assures uniformity in sizes, functioning, and durability. These advanced technologies allow us to produce customised products in bulk, minimising mistakes and maximising production.

Also important is our talented workforce, who are skilled to utilise these technologies to their maximum capabilities, ensuring an optimal and controlled manufacturing process.

We define the worth of the quality as the extent to which the customer benefits. Starting from a proper understanding of the client’s needs, our process leads us to develop solutions that are usable, reliable, and target the end-use.

Quality flourishes through constant development. At Kataria Plastics, we consistently invest in research and development, material science, and process development to be ahead of the changing needs. Our people are encouraged to think unconventionally, probe the norm, and propose better, cleaner, and more sustainable ways of manufacturing.

Our innovative spirit enables us to create next-generation pipe solutions that are not only high performing but increasingly sustainable.

Our manufacturing processes are aligned to waste less, save energy, as well as lessen our environmental impact. In keeping with sustainability, a core aspect of what we do, we attain environmental compliance, as well as facilitating a cleaner, healthier world in the years ahead.

We’re working continuously to use more sustainable raw materials, simplified logistics, and sustainable designs.

Our greatest assets are our people. Accountability, learning, and creativity are embedded in Kataria’s work environment. Periodic training, skill development, and cross-functional work enable each member of the team to understand how their work helps to further our commitment to delivering the best possible product.

Our mission is to set the benchmark higher in product performance, customer satisfaction, and brand trust. We pride ourselves on delivering solutions that stand the test of time, whether they are on farms, in the home, or under roads.

Every product that bears the name Kataria is a guarantee of integrity, consistency, and concern.

Safety Features and Measures

Safety in every product and process is a top priority at Kataria Plastics Pvt. Ltd. Whether manufacturing, processing, or installing CPVC and other pipe systems, we maintain all the safety norms to secure workers, users, and the environment.

Pre-Installation Safety Gear

Choosing the right Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kit is crucial. This includes proper goggles, gloves, closed shoes, and long-sleeved clothing. These minimise exposure to airborne particles, sharp edges, and solvents.

Safe Handling Techniques

Pipes must be lifted using correct posture or mechanical aids to avoid injury. For longer or heavier pipes, team lifting is recommended to ensure balance and reduce strain.

Fire Safety Considerations

Our CPVC pipes are self-extinguishing and have a high ignition temperature. Nonetheless, it is advisable to store the materials in dry, cool conditions where readily available fire extinguishers can be found.

Chemical Handling Precautions

Use adhesives and solvent cements in well-ventilated areas to avoid inhaling the vapours. Always follow the instructions of the manufacturer regarding correct application as well as curing time before pressurising the system.

Ventilation & Respiratory Safety

In confined spaces, exercise proper ventilation or wear approved protective breathing equipment. Doing so prevents exposure to potentially harmful vapours released by chemical bonding.

Emergency Preparedness

Keep clear access to fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and exit routes. Ensure that all employees are aware of spill control measures and first aid treatment for injuries.

Storage & Material Safety

Pipes and pipe fittings should be retained in a horizontal plane out of the sun’s reach and away from any hazard area. This keeps the materials in their integrity and avoids accidents from toppling stacks.

Training & Awareness

We hold regular safety training to educate the team on the best practices. Familiarity with the properties of materials and hazards in the workplace is important to establish a safe working environment.

Commitment to Safe Environments

From residential plumbing to industrial applications, we have always prioritised safe, dependable systems. Kataria produces every product with safety as the first priority.
